Mark Scarbrough

Mark Scarbrough is a food and travel write who lives in New York City.  His cookbooks include The Ultimate Shrimp Book (HarperCollins, 2002), The Ultimate Brownie Book (HarperCollins, 2002), Great Grilling (The Cooking Club of America, 2002), Weight Watcher's Take Five (Weight Watchers Publications, 2003), The Ultimate Potato Book (Harper Collins, 2003), and Everyday Cooking for Two (HarperCollins, 2004).  Under contract are The Ultimate Muffin Book, The Ultimate Cookie Book, and a new book for Weight Watchers on chicken.

In the middle of an academic career in American literature, Mark became involved with the original development team for content on AOL's food and travel sites.  At the same time, he launched a syndicated travel column in small newspapers across the country.  Soon, he moved to New York to pursue writing full-time.

He now writes a regular restaurant review column, the "Report from New York," for Passport Newsletter, the nation's oldest luxury travel publication.  He has developed recipes for the National Honey Board, the California Milk Advisory Board, and Stonewall Kitchen.  He has written for The New York Times, Metrosource, and Fine Cooking and is a regular contributor to Eating Well, Gourmet, Wine Spectator, Weight Watcher's Magazine, Weight Watchers Online, and Cooking Pleasures.

Bruce Weinstein

Bruce is a New York-based food and travel writer and cookbook author.  After attending Johnson & Wales Culinary University he continued his education at NYU and School of Visual Arts.  Leaving food behind, he made a left turn into advertising and quickly rose to the ranks of creative director at Grey Advertising and Spier NY.

Now, Bruce has returned to the food world to embrace his passion full time and for good.  His early projects included working on the original recipe for Lea & Perrin's Barbecue sauce, creating cocktails for Disney World's Pleasure Island, and as his first cookbook, Frozen Drinks With Or Without The Buzz.

He now collaborates with Mark Scarbrough with whom he has created The Ultimate Cookbook Series, including The Ultimate Ice Cream Book, The Ultimate Party Drink Book, The Ultimate Candy Book, The Ultimate Shrimp Book, The Ultimate Brownie Book, The Ultimate Potato Book, and the forthcoming The Ultimate Cookie Book and The Ultimate Soup Book.  The team's first book Everyday Cooking for Two will be published next year.

His recipes appear regularly in Cooking Pleasures Magazine, Weight Watchers Magazine, Cooking Light, Fine Cooking, and Eating Well.  The team writes about the food industry, restaurants, and hotels for Gourmet and Wine Spectator.  Bruce is a frequent guest on Weekend Today, Home Matters, and QVC.
