Supply-chain quality. To assure quality in every step of production
and to prevent problems, we pro-actively scrutinize the entire
supply chain. In selecting supplies, we clearly define the physical,
chemical, microbiological and functional characteristics of ingredients.
We examine the conditions under which ingredients are stored, shipped,
unloaded and held in our warehouses, to maintain quality before
ingredients reach our production floor. In addition, we look closely
at vendors, auditing their operations to assure that they will
handle and deliver ingredients appropriately.
