As a leader in soy protein, Solae is well suited to integrate Prolisse™ into our current product portfolio. Adding Cargill’s membrane-based technology and patents to Solae’s existing portfolio enables Solae to offer all of our customers a wider range of products and innovation.

This sophisticated membrane technology for producing isolated soy protein delivers unique benefits in terms of flavor and functional performance in various food applications. Cargill has done outstanding work in demonstrating the benefits of this technology in a number of retail and food and beverage products. As a result, the demand for Prolisse? has increased to a point where additional production capacity is needed and Cargill has chosen not to take this exciting product to the next level. We are very excited and honored to continue to develop and grow membrane-based products.

A great deal of work has been done to ensure a smooth transition for all Prolisse™ customers. This transaction does not affect other Cargill businesses or projects; this is strictly related to Prolisse™ isolated soy protein. Both companies will make sure that you will continue to be serviced with the current level of commitment without any disruptions.
