DuPont Acquires Full Ownership of Solae
Effective May 1, DuPont assumes full ownership of Solae, previously a DuPont joint venture with Bunge. Solae will be a critical part of DuPont Nutrition & Health, helping to build a strong food leadership position and bringing solutions to help feed the growing global population. As part of DuPont Nutrition & Health, without the joint venture structure, we can increase the speed of innovation and leverage the partnership with former Danisco to create a singular focus on specialty ingredients. In turn, we will be able to offer more products and solutions to our customers.
While Solae’s ownership is changing, customers will not experience any immediate change. Solae will continue to focus on delivering high quality, nutritious soy ingredients to food, meat and beverage manufacturers around the globe. Solae leadership in soy ingredients, application knowledge and food and nutrition science will continue to provide innovative solutions to customers. Further details regarding any leadership changes, organization structure, branding, etc… will be announced at a later date. We will share information with you as decisions are made.
