Torkel Rhenman
Chief Executive Officer
Torkel Rhenman is the CEO of Solae. He was named to his current position in February of 2008.
Rhenman joined DuPont in 1986 in sales and marketing at DuPont Scandinavia. His career has included sales, marketing, manufacturing and management positions in Sweden, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Belgium, Japan and the United States.
In June 2001, he transferred from Europe to the United States and assumed the role of global business director for Nordel® and added the responsibility for the Engage® business in 2004. In 2005, he became the global technology and strategic planning director for DuPont Performance Elastomers.
In 2006 he became global business director of Packaging & Industrial Polymers, based in Wilmington, Delaware.
Rhenman graduated with an M.S. degree in chemical engineering from The Royal Institute of Technology of Stockholm, Sweden in 1986.
