Reinhart Schmitt, Ph.D.
Regional Vice President – Europe
Reinhart Schmitt oversees Solae's business functions in Europe. He is responsible for customer acquisition, retention and growth in the European region. He is also Vice President of Solae Meat Solutions.
Schmitt was formerly global business director of Automotive Plastic Coatings for DuPont Performance Coatings and has held various other positions at DuPont.
Schmitt earned his Ph.D. in biochemistry and physics and holds a B.S. in chemistry from Justus Liebig University in Giessen, Germany.
