Cornel B. Fuerer
Vice President and General Counsel
Cornel B. Fuerer, an attorney, is Solae's general counsel, chief compliance officer and secretary of the board. Cornel safeguards the company's competitive position by managing risk, protecting intellectual property and championing Solae's high ethical standards.
Prior to joining Solae, he served as corporate counsel for several DuPont affiliates in Europe and Asia-Pacific, and before that, as an associate in a Geneva law firm.
Cornel earned his law degree from the University of Geneva School of Law and also holds a masters degree from the New York University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Switzerland and in New York State.
